Digital Experience Director: Data & Analytics.

FULL TIME, SYDNEY

Due to strong business growth, Alchemy One is looking for a Digital Experience Director who can lead client digital implementation to drive customer goals through best in market data & analytics experience and knowledge. Reporting into the Head of Digital Experience you will be responsible for leadership for analytics & data excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and work-streams from top-line designing of analytics frameworks, implementation, optimisation, and reporting, using data-driven insights that drives ROI. You will think creatively and analytically and be driven by day-to-day execution and optimisations. Working collaboratively across the agency you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative curiosity. You will be at the forefront of digital trends and application updates in order to share learnings with internal and external teams. This is a client-facing position so excellent communication and presentation skills are vital. With account management skills, you’ll be able to build trusting relationships with clients, take responsibility for the smooth running of the account and be able to motivate and educate internal and client teams. We are looking for someone who is amiable, self-motivated, driven and can show up with presence in the workplace. This role requires a well-organised individual with a positive attitude to lead a range of projects.

DAILY ROLE REQUIREMENTS

LEADERSHIP

  • Play an influential role in managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained YOY client retention & growth.
  • Develop design documents including measurement frameworks, deterministic planning/audience taxonomy, data layer & tag management best practice and support, data onboarding, information architecture mapping. tag audits, GA and Adobe analytics set up, digital maturity and tech stack project leadership.
  • Deploy GA/Adobe analytics solutions, tags & tracking pixels, data layer & tag manager set up, documentation of technical recommendations, training material for client handover.
  • Support & consult clients, media and tech partners and internal team members in set up and framework.
  • Design and build dashboards which directly correlate to client’s business needs & objectives.
  • Work with AO senior leadership team in growing out AOs digital and analytics offering.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the clients’ business and needs, as well as their core competitors.
  • Display scrupulous attention to detail and the passion to ‘get it right’.
  • Be ambitious, hungry to always stretch knowledge & capabilities.
  • Educate and update clients on best practices, platform solutions and online channel methodologies.
  • Implement and refine a common set of products with a unified approach, methodology, marketing collateral and training.
  • Staying on top of marketing and technology trends, being a thought leader within the industry.
  • Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, combined with working closely with the rest of the team to ensure products meet client objectives.
  • Maintain superb communication both to Internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to interpret and convey information in a concise way.

    • REQUIRMENTS
    • 6+ years’ experience in a client-facing analytics role.
    • Strong experience working with Tag Management software (e.g. Adobe DTM, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten).
    • In-depth product knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics data collection and administration.
    • Strong knowledge of BigQuery/SQL including advanced knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
    • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients combined with identifying and pitching for new business.
    • Ability to synthesise data, make data-driven decisions and balance that with the ‘art’ of media strategy.
    • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the ability to process and understand data in order to segment audiences and develop attribution models is essential.
    • A background in audience planning, developing and executing key strategies.
    • Ability to translate business problems into actionable metrics and communicate these concisely to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Knowledge and experience in the support in developing digital & data transformation for clients specifically around the use of DMPs, EDWs & CRM.
